YOUR RETREAT EXPERIENCE
Adventure,
Explore + Unwind
From the Pacific coast to rainforest waterways, there’s so much to discover.
Begin in Lima
NAIA Hotel Miraflores
Our first three nights are at NAIA Hotel in Miraflores, our home base for coastal walks, neighborhood exploration, and delicious discoveries. Unpack, settle in, and enjoy the excitement of experiencing Peru together.
Individual travelers will have private rooms during our Lima stay. Couples and families traveling together will share accommodations.
Discover Lima
Explore Miraflores and Barranco, take in ocean views from Lima’s cliffs, and discover traditional Peruvian flavors on a food tour. Set out for the Palomino Islands, where sea lions and coastal birdlife bring the seascape to life. Guests who wish can join an optional short swim with sea lions; wetsuits are provided for the cold water.
Into the Rainforest
EcoAmazonia Lodge
After an included domestic flight to Puerto Maldonado, continue by boat to EcoAmazonia Lodge. Settle into your bungalow and let the rainforest's rhythm shape the next four nights.
Between guided outings, enjoy a swim in the pool, stretch out in a riverside hammock, or take a quiet afternoon to rest. With meals at the lodge and adventures woven throughout our stay, there’s time to explore and space to pause.
Experience the Amazon
Our planned rainforest excursions include Caimán Cocha, Apu Victor Lake, Monkey Island, Lost Cocha, and the Gamitana River. Explore on foot and by canoe, take in canopy views, and watch for the wildlife that makes this landscape so fascinating.
A planned visit to a local cacao village offers another way to experience the region. Between outings, return to the lodge for pool time, a nap, or a peaceful moment overlooking the river.
All scheduled main-retreat excursions are included, and participation is optional. Join the adventures that call to you and rest whenever you need to. You can arrange fishing excursions independently for an additional cost.
Excursion timing may change with weather, river conditions, and local guidance. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
