INNER EXPLORATIONS

A Breath, Movement & Live Sound Journey
with Gage Howell
Buda Studio
August 30 | 3:30 - 5:00 PM

Step away from the noise of everyday life and journey inward through gentle movement, conscious breathing, and immersive live sound.

Inner Explorations is a 90-minute experiential workshop designed to awaken the senses, deepen energetic awareness, and create space for relaxation, curiosity, and connection. Gage has previously shared this unique experience at Willow Gardens, and we are excited to welcome him back for another journey of movement, breath, and sound.

Move, Breathe & Awaken

The experience begins with gentle, intentional movement and guided breathing practices to help quiet the mind and bring greater awareness to the body. Rather than focusing on how a movement looks, you will be encouraged to notice how it feels—exploring sensation, energy, and the subtle shifts that occur when you slow down and listen within.

As the breath deepens and the body begins to soften, you may experience a greater sense of presence, openness, and energetic awareness.

Rest Into the Sound

Following the movement and breathwork portion of the workshop, you will be invited to settle into a comfortable resting position and receive an immersive live sound journey.

Gage will create a rich and playful soundscape using the handpan, didgeridoo, guitar, and a variety of other instruments. The layered rhythms, vibrations, and tones offer a unique sensory experience that may support relaxation, reflection, creativity, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Every sound journey is different, making this an opportunity to experience the music and your own inner landscape with openness and curiosity.

REST AND RESET

Soundbath and Guided Relaxation
With Sophia Johnson
Buda Studio
September 5 | 7:00 - 8:15 PM

Step away from the demands of everyday life and immerse yourself in an evening of deep rest, healing, and renewal through the transformative power of sound.

Join Sophia for a meditative sound healing experience designed to calm the mind, regulate the nervous system, and restore balance to both body and spirit. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling with sleep, carrying emotional tension, or simply craving a moment of stillness, this practice offers a peaceful space to reset.

The evening begins with gentle breathwork, a guided full-body relaxation, and a calming visualization. These practices help quiet mental chatter, release physical tension, and prepare your body to fully receive the healing vibrations of the sound bath. As your nervous system shifts into a deeply relaxed state, you'll become more receptive to the restorative effects of sound.

From there, you'll be immersed in a multi-instrument sound journey featuring crystal singing bowls, gong, drums, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments. Each instrument creates unique frequencies and vibrations that gently wash over the body, encouraging the parasympathetic nervous system, often called the "rest and digest" response, to activate. Many participants experience a profound sense of calm, emotional release, mental clarity, and deep relaxation.

Sound healing has been used for centuries across many cultures to support meditation, mindfulness, and overall well-being. While every experience is unique, participants often report benefits such as:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety

  • Improved sleep quality

  • Deep physical relaxation

  • Emotional balance and release

  • Increased mental clarity and focus

  • A greater sense of inner peace and connection

No previous experience with meditation or sound healing is necessary. Simply wear comfortable clothing, settle into a supported resting position, and allow yourself to be carried by the soothing vibrations.

Come exactly as you are and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply restored.

SONIC MANIFESTATIONS, BREATHWORK, AND SOUND

Buda Studio | September 12 | 7:00 - 8:30 PM
With Ellie Bostwick

This class combines a 30-minute guided breathwork journey with live electronic music played by Ellie, followed by a restorative sound bath with her crystal bowls, moon gong, ocean drum, and chimes.

Combining breathwork and sound healing is an incredibly effective way to remove stored trauma from the body and create space for healing and ultimately living your best life. Manifesting works by the law of attraction, in other words, by believing you already have what you want without any doubts. Most of us are preconditioned to think this isn’t possible, but Ellie’s class will discuss how to remove those negative thoughts and activate your true potential. Feel free to bring a notepad with a list of what you want to manifest.
